With great pleasure we announce that L. Parker Stephenson is opening a private gallery at 764 Madison Avenue (between 65th and 66th streets). We hope that you will join us to celebrate this event on Thursday, September 10th from 6-8 in the evening.

On view for this occasion will be an exhibition titled “La France De Profil”, a group of specially selected works spanning one hundred years of French-related photography. Artists include Ilse Bing, Robert Capa, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Giraudon’s Artist, Izis, Saul Leiter, Charles Marville, Paul Strand, Maurice Tabard, and William Klein.

L. Parker Stephenson deals in avant-garde and classic photographs of the 20th century as well as represents a select number of contemporary photographers and estates. Among the latter are Raphael Dallaporta, Gregori Maiofis, Yuichi Hibi and the estate of the Belgian artist, Jan Yoors.
